We recommend getting a massage once a month for general maintenance and to prevent tension from building up to a painful level. People who sit for long periods of time, or those who are heavily active, may find that every two weeks is necessary to keep the muscles and bones in proper alignment. At most, every week may be recommended for people working through chronic issues or injuries.

Here at LoDo Massage, we have seen clients consistently leave our studio in less pain than when they arrived. Apothecanna’s Pain Creme definitely helps this transformation, but massage is a wonderful tool for combatting pain from a variety of sources. We must note, however, that massage is not intended to replace medical care, but works very well to supplement your physician's treatment plan.
Private Yoga is the perfect compliment to our massage therapy, working towards the same goal of lasting relief from tension and range of motion issues. We recommend Private Yoga to anyone whose issues stem from chronic misalignment, stress or anxiety. The format also works very well for beginners who want to lay a great foundation for a regular yoga practice. In the one-on-one setting, you and your teacher can discuss your specific goals, and how yoga practices can fit into your self-care routine.
